Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 24, 2026
This policy explains what information Chatandtap (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit chatandtap.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it in plain English.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, the subject you pick and your message. When you join our email list, the sign-up form collects the details it asks for, such as your name and email address.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. Analytics and advertising tools described below may also collect device and usage information through cookies.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use them for analytics and advertising, and the sign-up form provider may use them to make its form work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work if you do, though some ads may be less relevant.
Google Analytics
We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are read and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes data under Google's own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking analytics cookies.
Advertising and Revive Adserver
Ads on this site are delivered through Revive Adserver, loaded from servedby.revive-adserver.net. The ad server may set cookies to limit how often you see the same ad, to count impressions and clicks, and to prevent fraud. We don't give advertisers your name or email address.
Email sign-up form
Our newsletter sign-up form is provided by a third-party CRM service and loads from link.sphere-crm.com. Information you enter goes to that provider so we can send you the emails you asked for. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Headlines from other sites
Some pages show headlines from other publishers. Our own server fetches those feeds; your browser doesn't share your details with those publishers unless you click a headline and visit their site, where their privacy policy applies.
Third-party links
We link to other websites, including sources we cite and share buttons for social networks. We aren't responsible for how those sites handle your information.
How we use information
We use information to answer your messages, send emails you signed up for, understand what readers find useful, show and measure ads, keep the site secure, and meet legal obligations. We don't sell your personal information for money.
Your rights
If you're in the UK, EU or EEA, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We rely on consent for cookies where the law requires it and on our legitimate interests for running and securing the site.
If you're a California resident, the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. If advertising cookies count as sharing under California law, you can opt out by blocking third-party cookies or by contacting us. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
Residents of other states and countries may have similar rights, and we'll honor reasonable requests wherever you are.
Keeping information
We keep contact messages as long as we need them to respond and for reasonable record-keeping. Email list details stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Children
This site is written for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. To make a privacy request or ask a question, use our contact form and choose “General”.
